Unveiling the new EmVenio at DPHARM 

Last week, several of our team members traveled to Philadelphia for the 15th Annual DPHARM conference. We enjoyed introducing EmVenio Clinical Research to attendees, following the alignment of PCM Trials and its subsidiaries, EmVenio Research and Clinical Trial Service, under one brand.  

This year’s theme – Disruptive Innovations to Modernize Clinical Trials – was the perfect opportunity to showcase how EmVenio is supporting scientific advancement in through community-based solutions to make research more representative of the real world population. 

On opening day, our Chief Commercial Officer, Jeff Huntsman, was joined by Leah Broder from Socially Determined in an insightful session titled “Addressing Social Determinants of Health for Greater Patient Access.” Together, they explored addressing social determinants of health, like transportation, food access, and digital equity, can dramatically reduce barriers to trial participation and improve recruitment and retention – a practice deeply embedded in our day-to-day work. 

We were also proud to sponsor the Tailgate Networking Reception, where we reconnected with colleagues and met new faces at our booth. Guests enjoyed specially themed pomegranate margaritas (a nod to our refreshed brand colors) while learning about our new Patient Navigator offering. This personalized support service is designed to reduce logistical and financial barriers to clinical trial participation, making research more accessible and inclusive. 

Throughout the two-day event, our team was busy attending numerous insightful presentations led by fellow industry thought leaders. We noticed several recurring themes that align closely with our mission, including innovations in clinical operations, the growing role of artificial intelligence, and a strong emphasis on patient advocacy.
